Pendataan anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kota Makassar

Abstract

Accurate data on children with special needs in Indonesia is still difficult to obtain, including in Makassar City, South
Sulawesi. This has become one of the obstacles for Forum Komunikasi Orangtua Anak Spesial Indonesia (Forkasi) Chapter
Makassar in carrying out its work program. This social partnership program aims to collecting data through ABK data collection
activities in the city of Makassar. This social partnership program has collected data about the Special and Inclusive Schools in
Makassar, therapy centers and hospitals providing special needs therapy services, professional associations and special needs
community members in Makassar. However, the number of ABK and demographic data is difficult to obtain because not all
parties (parents, schools, therapy centers) are open to provide this data.
