Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) focused on small-scale salt businesses. Knowledge about business projections is still very limited to salt business owners. The purpose of this activity is to motivate salt business owners to have the knowledge and skills to be able to do the right business projection as a supporter in developing their business. The implementation method used a combination of lecture and practice. Participants consisted of salt business owners in Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency. The technique of carrying out activities consisted of three stages starting from the preparation stage, the implementation phase, and the evaluation phase. The results of dedication show that salt business owners have difficulty in conducting business projection techniques from their businesses because the recording of sales from time to time is incomplete or non-existent. After doing the simulation, the participants can understand the basic forecast of sales in the future sales projections. Furthermore, the salt business owner can know the business projection correctly. Knowledge about business projections is expected to improve business performance and competitiveness. The limitation in this activity is that the implementation method does not use technical assistance, so knowledge about business projections can be implemented in business activities.
