Pemanfaatan biji salak sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kopi

Abstract


The partner of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the people of Tonyamang Village, Patampanua District, Pinrang Regency. The problem was the amount of zalacca seed waste in the local environment was very abundant and local people did not find out if the zalacca seeds can be used as a raw material for coffee. The method used is: lecture, demonstration, discussion, and question and answer. The local community, especially the Taklim Assembly lady, was very enthusiastic in participating in the PKM program making zalacca seed coffee. The results achieved are the number of zalacca seeds can be minimized by using zalacca seeds as the raw material for coffee. Local people have been able to process zalacca seeds into coffee with distinctive flavors.
