Abstract

Solfegio is a subject that must be followed by students who choose music interest in the Sendratasik education study program at FSD UNM. This course aims to provide students with basic musical abilities so that in the future the practice of learning music becomes easier. This course provides the ability to hear, write, and sing or pronounce it back through vocals. In solfegio courses, the learning process has not used reference books or textbooks. Learning material is usually taken from some supporting material, namely music theory material by taking part in the learning RPS made by lecturers in charge of the course, coupled with practices that are based on the needs or competencies to be achieved. This is done because until now, there is no textbook about solfegio courses. The purpose of this study is to analyze teaching materials and RPS that are used in the framework of designing an E-learning module solfegio which is certainly able to provide material that is easily understood and practiced by students in the FSD UNM Sendratasik educational study program. The research method used adapts the development model offered by Borg & Gall which has been simplified by Nurkamto (2012: 3) into four main phases, each of which includes several operational steps. The four steps are (1) the preliminary stage, (2) the design / development stage, (3) the testing phase, (4) the dissemination and implementation stage. The results of this study are the results of the analysis of the material from the existing references show that there are still many weaknesses in the content of the material that do not lead to the competencies to be achieved. Content material is more directed to the material concepts of the formation of musical elements, be it rhythm, melody or harmony or chords. The used RPS has led to the achievement to be addressed, but this has not been supported by a teaching material that is able to be a companion in the learning process, the results of the questionnaire related to student needs obtained data from 88 samples distributed questionnaires, there were 71 or 80.44% students who need these courses, while there are 17 or 19.32% of students who do not need these courses.
