Abstract


Abstract: Education Co This research and development aimed to developed an effective laboratory guide based on guided inquiry learning models for 11th grades student at Senior High School 1 Bone, in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year. The results of the analysis obtained from the data is, the practical guide has the quality of effectiveness obtained based on the test results of learning that 86 students managed to get the final category, so the percentage of completeness 81.13%, and the results of observation skills assessment, 89 learners who managed to get the category value thorough, so the percentage 82.40%. According to Hobri (2009), that is a teaching material is said to be effective if ≥ 80% of the number of students using the teaching materials is able to reach KKM (75). So the effectiveness of the practicum guide is measured by looking at how many percent of students are able to reach the KKM of 106 students who are given posttest. Based on these achievements, the biological practicum guide that has been developed can be said to be effective.
