Abstract


Abstract:    Learning media are a means to improve the activities of the teaching and learning process. One way to increase students interest and learning outcomes is to create a fun learning environment with the use of innovative and appropriate learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using focusky media on the interests and learning outcomes of biology of students 10thgrade science in high school. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design (Quasi Experimental Design), with a research design using Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Samples taken were randomly selected using random sampling. The research data were analyzed descriptively statistically and inferentially descriptive. The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of applying the use of media focusky presentation to the interests and learning outcomes of biology of students 10thgrade Science in High School. Teacher can use this strategy in other school and consider with the learning material characteristics. Keywords:  Learning Media, Focusky Presentation, Interest in Learning, Learning Outcomes.
