Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to determine the effectivity of team’s games tournament learning model with scientific approach on activity and learning outcomes at Senior High School. This type of research is a quasiexperimental research design nonequivalent pretest posttest kontrol group design. The sample of this study was the XI MIA 2 class as the experimental group and XI MIA 1 as the kontrol group with 37 people. The activity in learning students who are taught to use teams’ games tournament learning model with scientific approach is higher than the learning activity of students who are not taught using teams’ games tournament learning model with scientific approach. This is from the results of the hypothesis t test on learning activity between the experimental group and the kontrol group obtained a significance number of 0.002 <0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which shows that the teams games tournament learning model with scientific approach is efective to increasing the learning activity of students. Learning outcomes of students who are taught to use teams’ games tournament learning model with scientific approach is higher than not using it. This is from the results of the hypothesis t test on learning outcomes between the experimental group and the kontrol group obtained a significance number of 0.015 <0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which shows that the teams games tournament learning model with scientific approach is efective to increasing the learning outcomes of students.
