Abstract


Abstract:  This experiment was aim to know the effect of project based learning model towards creative thinking skill and biology learning result of student in senior high school 21 makassar. The kind of experiment is quasi experiment with pretest-postest control group design. Population of this experiment was student grade X MIPA of senior high school 21 makassar. The sample was decided by random sampling and the result show that MIPA 6 as experiment class and MIPA 5 as control class. Data was obtained by using test instrument which is essay test to measure creative thinking skill and multiple choice to measure learning result. Hypotheses test was done by using kovarian analysis. Student creative thinking skill  teach by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is higher than the student that teach by convensional model where the significancy value was 0.000 < α 0.05. Student learning result teach by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is higher than the student that teach by convensional model where the significancy value was 0.003 < α 0.05. There is a possitive correlation between creative thinking skill and learning result with correlation value 0.794. Based on the result can be conclude that application Project Based Learning (PjBL) on learning process affect creative thinking skill and biology learning result of student in senior high school 21 makassar.  Keywords: creative thinking skill, learning result, project based learning
