Abstract:     Background This research is the low understanding of students on metabolic material which is one of the concepts that is difficult to learn in class XII high school. Flipcreator-based electronic magazines are offered as alternative learning media that can help students understand metabolic material more easily and can be used anywhere as a medium for self-learning. Electronic magazine is a digital-based learning media that is able to present new colors in the learning process because it is packaged with a  more   attractive     appearance, deeper material  presentation, longer actualization values, more and more clear images. The learning media of electronic magazines are equipped with videos or animations that can help students understand the material related to the scheme or the flow that occurs in the metabolic process. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive research method. The data of this study were taken from the learning outcomes of students after using learning media in electronic magazines. The results showed that the application of learning media using electronic magazines can improve student learning outcomes. The average value of learning outcomes is 83.15%. After applying electronic magazine learning media in the learning process, as many as 80% of students give positive responses (fun) and can also help teachers in the learning process. Thus, this study concludes that metabolic learning using flip-creator-based electronic magazines is effective  Keywords: Learning media, electronic magazines, learning outcomes
