Abstract

Abstract:  This article contains the relationship of naturalistic intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence to the results of learning biology. Gardner put forward a theory about Multiple Intelligence, where each person has at least seven types of intelligence namely linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence, spatial intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence, where the intelligence of each individual is different. In the process of learning biology, there are at least three intelligences that influence student learning outcomes, namely naturalistic intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, and interpersonal intelligence. Naturalistic intelligence is the ability to recognize and categorize species, namely flora and fauna in the environment, recognize the existence of species, explain the relationships between species. This intelligence is very closely related to biology subjects that require students to know about themselves and the state of the surrounding natural environment. Intrapersonal intelligence is self-knowledge and the ability to act adaptively based on that knowledge. This intelligence is very closely related to the ability of students to recognize themselves and find the best way for themselves in the learning process. Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand moods, intentions, motivations, and feelings towards others. This intelligence is needed by students to create good relationships and communication with teachers and classmates.  Keywords: naturalistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, learning outcomes
