Perbandingan Penggunaan Media Prezi dengan Media Powerpoint terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Biologi pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Siswa Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Makassar

Abstract

Abstract:  This is aims to know the comparison using the Prezi media with PowerPoint media of motivation and biology learning result in respiratory system matter biology students in XI grade SMA Negeri 3 Makassar. The population of this research was all students in XI grade SMA Negeri 3 Makassar in the academic year 2018/2019 consisting of six classes with 214 students. The sample of this research was chosen using random class, so obtained XI IPA 1 as first experiment group by using Prezi media and XI IPA 2 as second experiment group by using PowerPoint media. This research was carried out with six hours lesson (3 meetings for the material) and 2 meetings for evaluation. The measurement of student motivation was done by angket and learning result was done by giving learning result test in multiple choice forms, including pretest (the result of students initial cognitive test) and posttest (the result of students ending cognitive test). The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential  hypothesis testing using Kovarian Analysise with significant level of 0,05. The statistical result for students motivation (α = 0,05) showed the value of sig (2-tailed) 0,02 < α = 0,05 then the H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, and the statistical result for learning result (α = 0,05) showed the value of sig (2-tailed) 0,039 < α =0,05 then the H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This research concluded there are differences using the Prezi media with PowerPoint media of motivation and biology learning result in respiratory system matter biology students in XI grade SMA Negeri 3 Makassar.
