Abstract


Abstract: A research about The Characteristic of Student Biology Worksheet of Senior High School has been conducted in Makassar. The aim of this research is to review about the student biology worksheet’s characteristic of senior high school in Makassar.The worksheet characteristic which was investigated consists of five indicators, that is (1) The Structure of Student Worksheet, (2) The Ability levels, (3) The Thinking Levels, (4) The Process Skills, (5) The Task Models. The Result of the research showed that: (1) the worksheet’s structure consists of seven components that is the title, learning instruction or general instruction, subject or basic competency or learning goal, supporting information, practice task, practicum, and evaluation. (2) The ability levels started from remembering (C1), comprehensing (C2), applicating (C3), analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). (3) The thinking levels consist of high level thinking skills (HOTS), and low level thinking skills (LOTS).(4) The process skills which was trained were observating, communicating, asking, predicting, identificating, formulating, designing, making, and classifying.(5) The task model that was given to the students started from multiple choice, essay, TTS.
