Abstract


Abstract. This study aims to determine the biology learning interest of students who do not use the mushroom preservation as a learning medium and who use the fungus as a learning medium, biology learning outcomes of students who do not use the mushroom as a learning medium and who use the fungus as a learning medium, the effect of preservative use mushroom as a learning medium for learning interest and the influence of the preservation of Jamurs as a medium of learning on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA 5 Barru. The population in this study is class X IPA students of SMA 5 Barru academic year 2019/2020. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique. Class X IPA 3 as a control group by getting learning without the use of preserved mushrooms as learning media and class X IPA 2 as an experimental group that gets learning with the use of preserved mushrooms as learning media. This study used a quasi experimental design design. Data on student learning interest was collected by questionnaire and student learning outcomes data were collected by tests. The statistics used are descriptive statistics and infrequent statistics. Testing the hypothesis using the independent sample test t test and Mann Whitney sample U test. Testing the interest in learning hypotheses using the Mann whitney test sample U test with the hope that there is a difference in the average value of the increase in student biology learning interest scores that are significant between the control class and the experimental class. so that it can be concluded that the use of preserved mushrooms as a medium of learning influences the biology learning interest of class X of SMA Negeri 5 Barru. Testing the learning outcome hypothesis using the independent test sample T test with the hope that there are differences in the increase in student biology learning outcomes that are significant between the control class and the experimental class. so that it can be concluded that the use of preserved mushrooms as a medium of learning has an effect on the learning outcomes of biology in class X of SMA Negeri 5 Barru.
