Abstract

Abstract.  The purpose of this study is to produce valid teaching instruments for high school students on the concept of the respiratory system. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. This article is limited only to the development section, especially to the validity test of the props. To test the validity of the teaching aids, the instrument validation sheet was assessed based on the results of the validator's assessment. The teaching aids are validated based on three aspects of assessment, namely aspects of guidance, aspects of assessment components, and aspects of language. Validated teaching aids consist of six units, namely: 1) lung model, 2) CO2 test, 3) simple respirometer, 4) spirometer, 5) anaerobic respiration, and 6) KIT props. The results of the teaching aids (lung model) obtained an average value of 4.42. The validation of props (CO2 test) obtained an average value of 4.59. Props validation (simple respirometer) obtained an average value of 4.59. Validation of props (spirometer) obtained an average value of 4.42. Props validation (Anaerobic respiration) obtained an average value of 4.44. and the validation of the respiration system props packaged into a KIT in the box obtained an average value of 4.42 Keywords: KIT props, respiration system
