Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan keberhasilan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir Kecamatan Bontoa Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan agar strategi potensi masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Bontoa Kabupaten Maros adalah dengan cara membuat instrument yang mengatur pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan wilayah pesisir guna mengoptimalkan kualitas lingkungan pesisir melingkupi aspek sosial, ekonomi dan budaya serta mampu menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan masyarakat dalam rangka memberikan akses dalam hal berbagai kepentingan masyarakat nelayan agar terlibat dalam pembangunan di wilayah pesisir.

This research aims to optimize the success of empowering coastal communities in Bontoa District, Maros Regency. The results of the research show that the potential strategy for fishing communities in the coastal areas of Bontoa District, Maros Regency is to create instruments that regulate the empowerment of fishing communities in coastal areas in order to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic and cultural aspects and be able to create a conducive atmosphere for the implementation of community development in in order to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to be involved in development in coastal areas.
