Abstract


This study aims to describe the ability of class B class 2021 students in drawing floral motifs using henna in the Fine Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Art and Design, Makassar State University. This type of research is evaluative research, the population consists of 27 students of the Fine Arts Education Study Program class of 2021 class B, because the population is so small that all populations become the total sample. Data collection using practical test techniques were analyzed using analytical techniques in various percentages. The results of the assessment are based on the aspects assessed, namely aspects of ideas/ideas, techniques, beauty, and completion. Then make the results of the average student score which is determined based on the weight of the highest score to the lowest score then determine the percentage of students according to the aspects of the assessment that have been mastered. The final assessment is by adding up the average scores of the three assessment teams to determine the percentage in drawing floral motifs using henna. The results of the data obtained showed that the ability of class B class 2021 students in drawing floral motifs using henna was categorized as good. As a suggestion from the author, namely to class B class 2021 students to practice more to increase their creativity so that they can produce better and more varied works.
