Penerapan Relaksasi Atensi untuk Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Belajar pada Mahasiswa

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of attentive relaxation on the learning concentration ability of Makassar State University students. The theory of attention relaxation used is Robert McKim's theory which is divided into three stages, namely loosening up, letting go, going to close (problem approach). The method carried out in this study is an experimental method. This study used the Two Independent Group Design research design model consisting of pre-test and post-test. The participants involved were 20 people who were divided into two groups consisting of 10 experimental groups and 10 control groups. The experimental group will be given treatment in the form of relaxation of attention while the control group does not get treatment. Participants will be measured for their concentration ability using the Army Alpha test. Data analysis techniques use the T Test or Independent-Sample T Test and Paired Sample T Test from the SPSS program. The results of the analysis using the T Test obtained a significance value or Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05 which means that there is a difference in the value of student learning concentration between the group that was treated in the form of relaxation of attention and the group that was not given treatment.  There was an increase from the low category participants in the pre-test to the high category in the post-test in the experimental group.
