Abstract


The role of school wellbeing and learning motivation is one of the factors that become successful in implementing learning at school and can affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the relationship between school wellbeing and the learning motivation of SMA Y Takalar students. This study used a quantitative method involving 184 students of SMA Y Takalar using a simple random sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using the Product moment analysis technique. The results of the hypothesis testing in this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between school wellbeing and learning motivation (r = 0.728; p = 0.000). This shows that the higher the school wellbeing experienced by SMA Y Takalar students, the higher the level of student learning motivation. The results of this study can be used as input and material for reflection for schools and teachers, so as to provide school facilities and infrastructure that are conducive to increasing student motivation
