Hubungan Self Efficacy dengan Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja di Masa Pandemi pada Mahasiswa Tingkat di Kota Makassar

Abstract


Every situation threatens the existence of individuals who can cause anxiety when facing a challenge such as in the world of work that will be faced by students when they graduate from college due to low self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety in facing the world of work in final year students. This study uses quantitative methods. The subjects in this study were 427 final year students in Makassar City. The results of the research on the first hypothesis test showed that the significant value was p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), and the correlation coefficient was = -0.350. Thus, there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety facing the world of work in final year students. The correlation value shows a negative value, which means that self-efficacy and anxiety in facing the world of work are negatively correlated and fall into the weak category. The negative correlation value indicates that the higher the student's self-efficacy, the lower his anxiety in dealing with the world of work. Meanwhile, the lower the self-efficacy of students, the higher the anxiety facing the world of work.
