Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of low impact aerobic exercise interventions on hemoglobin levels in elderly women assisted by Prolanis. by implementing routine exercise activities for 12 weeks and a frequency of 1 time a week. This research method used the one-group pre-posttest design pre-experiment. The instrument used in this study was hemoglobin measurement with a digital hemoglobin meter. The results of the study found hemoglobin levels where the average elderly experienced an increase in hemoglobin levels after routinely doing low impact aerobics with an average before 11.92gr/dl (1.80) increased to 13.78 gr/dl (1.06) with a change of 1.86 gr/dl with P value = 0.000 (p < 0.05 ). The conclusion of this study is that low impact aerobic exercise has an effect in stimulating an increase in hemoglobin levels in the elderly.
