This study aims to determine the effect of information technology mastery on the competence of elementary school teachers in Ambon City. This research is quantitative research with 224 elementary school teachers who have taken the teacher competency test as respondents. The study used two types of data: primary and secondary data. Primary data about the mastery of teacher information technology was obtained directly from the respondents using a questionnaire. Secondary data on teacher competency test results obtained from LPMP Maluku Province. Data analysis used simple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The study found that information technology mastery (X) positively affected elementary school teachers' competence (Y) in Ambon City, as indicated by the t-test result of 0.397. The effect is significant, as evidenced by a P-Value of 0.001, smaller than alpha = 0.05. Thus, it is recommended that teachers improve their skills in using information technology.
