Analysis of Student Numeration Literacy Ability Reviewing from Independent Learning

Abstract


This study aims to determine the students' numeracy literacy ability in terms of learning independence. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive research type. This research was conducted in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 1 Bua. The research subjects were 3 students. The research instrument were 1) a learning independence questionnaire, 2) a numeracy literacy ability test, 3) interviews, and 4) documentation. The results showed that the subject with high learning independence in solving problems could meet all indicators of good numeracy literacy skills. Students can meet the predetermined numeracy literacy indicators on moderate learning independence, but there are indicators that cannot be met. Meanwhile, subjects with low learning independence tend not to be able to fulfill all indicators of numeracy literacy skills and poor understanding of concepts.
