Abstract

This research aims to develop mathematics learning packages based on Sipamandaq local wisdom, which consists of a lesson plan, teacher book, student worksheet, and learning achievement test. The research subject was 17 students of grade IX of MA Atthahiriyah Lapeo. The development procedure used in this study was modified from the 4-D Thiagarajan model, which covers four steps, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. (1) The defining phase, (2) the designing phase, (3) the developing phase, and (4) the disseminating phase. The mathematics learning package has been developed, validated, and revised. The results of the trial model show that Sipamandaq's local wisdom fulfilled practical and effective criteria. These are basically from (1) the average of students' score on the learning achievement test is 79,94 from the ideal score of 100; (2) the activity of students are at the PWI tolerance interval; (3) the ability of teachers to manage to learn is in the very high category of 3.88 or 97%; (4) Generally, the student's responded positively to the learning package used with a percentage in the amount of 94%.
