This study aimed to see the effect of applying the Problem Solving learning method to HOTS. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research and a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design as a research design. The population in this study were all students of X grade at SMA Negeri 2 Baubau. The sample was taken by two classes using a simple random sampling technique: class XIPA9, which amounted to 37 people as the experimental class, and class X IPA 6, which amounted to 37 people as the control class.
