Abstract
Abstract. The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic situation has tested the academic world to the point where the readiness for the implementation of learning in the 4.0 era is learning to be done online. However, this sudden condition makes academics, especially students, feel that the lectures they are undergoing are not as comfortable as offline lectures so far. This research will reveal whether online learning is still able to create school well-being which consists of 4 aspects. This study uses a survey method with google form. The research subjects were 921 students (215 male and 706 female) who attended online lectures from 36 universities in Indonesia. This survey also involved 254 lecturers (84 male and 170 female) who taught using the online method from 45 tertiary institutions in Indonesia. This survey research was then analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that the school wellbeing for students and lecturers was classified as less than optimal in a pandemic condition. When viewed from the dimensions of school wellbeing, there are 3 dimensions that are assessed negatively by students and lecturers, namely having, loving, and health causing students and lecturers to be less able to achieve school wellbeing during online lectures in the era of independent learning during Covid 19. The Being dimension gets a positive assessment from students which causes students to appreciate their lecturers in creative teaching techniques, even though on the other hand the lecturers experience difficulties in the online teaching process.
