Abstract


Abstract. Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Civics Subjects through Role Playing Type Cooperative Learning in class VI SDN 179 Pinrang. The problems in this research are: 1) How is the learning implementation process using the role playing learning model in Civics subjects in class VI SDN 179 Pinrang? From the formulation of the problem, the research aims: 1) To find out information about the learning implementation process using the role playing model in improving Civics learning outcomes in class VI SDN 179 Pinrang. The research approach is a qualitative approach with this type of research is classroom action research. This study focuses on the process of student and teacher activities by implementing role playing type cooperative learning and the focus of student learning outcomes after the implementation of learning using role playing type cooperative learning model. The research was conducted at SDN 179 Pinrang, with the subjects being teachers and grade VI students of SDN 179 Pinrang, totaling 30 people, consisting of 8 boys and 12 girls. The procedure and research design used were planning, action, observation and reflection. From the implementation, data were collected using observation techniques, learning outcomes tests and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and processed qualitatively. The learning outcomes obtained from the success rate of students who complete the school's KKM, which tend to increase, respectively: cycle I, qualification is sufficient, cycle II has passed but is still in the sufficient category, and cycle III has good qualifications. The conclusion of the research results is that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics subjects through cooperative learning type role playing in class VI SDN 179 Pinrang.
