Work Discipline and Competency of The Democracy Volunteer of Makassar City in General Election 2019

Abstract


Abstract. Every organization certainly expects human resources in it to have good performance for the achievement of organizational goals. Likewise, the expectations of the performance of the Makassar City Volunteer Democracy, in the 2019 General Election. There is a positive and significant influence between work discipline on the performance of the Makassar City Volunteer Democracy, this can be seen from the value of Unstandardized Coefficients beta (β) of 0.262 (26.2 %). This means that the magnitude of the contribution of the influence of work discipline on performance is 26.2%. There is a positive and significant effect between competencies on the performance of them, this can be seen from the value of Unstandardized Coefficients beta (β) that is equal to 0.579 (57.9%). This means that the magnitude of the contribution of the influence of competence on performance is 56.9%. There is the effect of work discipline and competence simultaneously (together) on the performance of them. This is proven by seeing the R-Square value of 0.574, it can be concluded that the magnitude of the effect given by work discipline and competence simultaneously on performance is the remaining 57.4% is 42.6% explained or influenced by other variables not selected in this study.
