Pengaruh Pemberian Kuis pada Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kimia Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pangkajene (Studi Pada Materi Pokok Larutan Asam Basa)

ABSTRAK

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh positif pemberian kuis  pada awal pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT)terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pangkajene pada materi pokok larutan asam basa. Desain penelitian adalah “Posttest Control Group Design”. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) yang diawali dengan kuis dan tanpa diawali dengan kuis, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pangkajene. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pangkajene yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Dengan teknik random terpilih kelas XI IPA G. Mendel sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA Galileo sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengambilan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 80,03 dengan ketuntasan sebesar 80,00% dan kelas kontrol 76,21 ketuntasan sebesar 50,00%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai t_hitung = 2,76 > t_tabel = 1,67 yang berarti H₁ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Ini memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif pemberian kuis pada awal pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT)  terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pangkajene pada materi pokok larutan asam basa.

 ABSTRACT

This quasi eksperimental research aim to determine the positive effect on the provision of initial quiz on Numbered Head Together (NHT) tipe of cooperative learning toward student learning outcomes chemistry of class XI IPA Senior High School 2 Pangkajene study on acid alkali solution topic. The study’s design was “Posstest Control Group Design”. The independent variable in this study is learning prosess using Numbered Head Together (NHT) type beginning quiz and without quiz. Dependent variable is students learning coutcomes chemistry of class XI IPA Senior High School 2 Pangkajene. The population in this study was the XI IPA class of Senior High School 2 Pangkajene consisted of five classes. By random sampling XI IPA G. Mendel class as control stated class and XI IPA Galileo class as experimental class. Data retrievals of learning outcomes were achieved by administering posstest. Learning outcomes data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. The analysis showed the average value of experimental class was 80,03 with the grade completencess were 80,00% and control class was 76,21 with the the grade completencess were 50,00%. The result of inferential analysis using t-test showed that t_count = 2,76 >t_table = 1,67 which means that H₁ was accepted and H₀ was rejected. It can be concluded that the administration of the initial quiz on Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning was a positive effect on students learning outcomes chemistry of class XI IPA Senior High School 2 Pangkajene in subject matter of acid alkali solution.
