Abstract


This research is entitled Application of "Qasidah Tambourine" to improve students' basic rhythm skills in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 15 Bone. Aims to know the basic ability of musical rhythm through Qasidah. This research focuses on improving students' basic rhythm skills, introduction to the tambourine musical instrument, introduction to musical elements, individual practice, and group practice. The Qasidah in SMA Negeri 15 Bone has 2 main problems, namely, How is the application of the qasidah tambourine to improve students' basic rhythm abilities in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 15 Bone, the second problem is, how is the result of applying the qasidah tambourine to improve students' basic rhythm skills in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 15 Bone. The research method used in qualitative research is descriptive. The qualitative data technique used was Observation, Interview, and Documentation which involved a trainer as well as a researcher, namely myself. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative analysis technique with a descriptive method through stages, interviews, documentation, data presentation, and conclusion. From the results of the study, it was known: (1) improving students' basic rhythm skills, (2) introducing elements of music, (3) individual training, (4) and group training.
