The Effect of Work Discipline, Professionalism, and Integrity of the State Civil Apparatus on the Quality of Public Services

Abstract


This research is backgrounded by the incomplete supporting facilities and infrastructure supporting work activities in providing services to the community. This study aims to determine: 1) To analyze the influence of the work discipline of the state civil apparatus (ASN) on the quality of public services in the Kerinci Regency Social Service; 2) To analyze the influence of the professionalism of the state civil apparatus (ASN) on the quality of public services in the Kerinci Regency Social Service; 3) To analyze the influence of the integrity of the state civil apparatus (ASN) on the quality of public services in the Kerinci Regency Social Service; 4) To analyze the simultaneous influence of work discipline, professionalism, and integrity of the state civil apparatus (ASN) on the quality of public services in the Kerinci Regency Social Service. From the calculation of the Slovin formula above, the number of samples in this study was 41. Data collection is carried out by the method of surveying with questionnaires. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple linear regression tests. Based on the study's results, it is known that: 1) Work discipline has a significant positive effect on the quality of public services at the Kerinci Regency Social Service. This result can be seen from the partial test hypothesis where the calculation>ttabel or 5.946>2.019 and the significance of 0.000<0.05. 2) Professionalism significantly positively affects the quality of public services at the Kerinci Regency Social Service. This result can be seen from the partial test hypothesis where thitung>ttabel or 4,511>2,019 with a significance of 0.000 where 0.000<0.05. 3) Integrity significantly affects the quality of public services at the Kerinci Regency Social Service. This result can be seen from the partial test hypothesis where the thitung>ttabel or 5.096>2.019 with a significance of 0.000 where 0.000< 0.05. 4) Work discipline, professionalism, and integrity have a simultaneous positive and significant effect on the quality of public services at the Kerinci Regency Social Service. This result can be seen from the calculated F value of 23.065 with a probability value (Sig)=0.000. The F value counts 23.065>Ftable 2.858 and the sig value. It is less than the probability value of 0.05 or 0.000<0.05.
