Abstract


Abstract. This research aims to improve the German simple text writing skills of class XI students of SMAN 14 Gowa using the Stationlernen learning method. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycles consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were the students of class XI IPA 1 which amounted to 36 Students. The data of this research consisted of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is obtained from the results of teacher and student observations while quantitative data is obtained through simple text writing skills test in cycle I and cycle II. The results of the student’s German simple text writing test in cycle I obtained an average of 61,51 and increased in cycle II with an average score 81,35. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Stationlernen learning method can improve the German simple text writing skills of students of class XI SMAN 14 Gowa.
