Abstract


The purpose behind this research is to understand how service quality affects purchasing decisions for mixue products in Makassar.. The population of this study were mixue consumers in Makassar and the sample of this study was 100 respondents. The analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression analysis, Pearson product moment correlation test, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the conclusion is that service quality has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. This is known from the correlation coefficient score of service quality on purchasing decisions is 0.739 at the interval of a strong correlation level. Furthermore, the results of the T and F hypothesis tests which prove that there is an influence between service quality and purchasing decisions have been accepted because the T count and F hitug scores are above the T table and F table (10.874> 1.661 and 118.233> 3.938). Then the calculation of the coefficient of determination is 54.7%.
