Abstract


This study examines the ability to recognize letters in class 2 children with autism at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the effect of using sandpaper letters on learning to recognize letters for autistic children at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa?" The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) The ability to recognize letters in autistic children at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa in conditions before being given treatment. 2) The use of Sandpaper letters as media to improve the ability to recognize letters in Gowa 1 SLB Negeri 1 autistic children in conditions while being treated. 3) The ability to recognize letters in autistic children at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa in conditions before being given treatment. 4) Comparison of the ability to recognize letters in autistic children at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa before and after being given treatment. The data collection technique used is the action test. The subject in this study was one class II autistic child at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa with the initials AED. This study uses an experimental method, namely using Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design
