Abstract


The formulation of the research problem is how to increase the ability to recognize colors with lego media in elementary class II autistic children. The purpose of this study was to find out 1) Basic ability to recognize colors for class II autistic students before using Lego media. 2) Basic ability to recognize color for autistic students in class II after using Lego media. 3) Improving the ability to recognize colors through the use of Lego media for class II autistic students. Descriptive quantitative research approach. The subject of this study was a class II autistic child with the initials WN. The data collection technique used was an action test. Data analysis used test results before and after treatment. The conclusions of this study are 1) the ability to recognize color in a class II autistic child before the application of Lego media is in the incapacitated category, 2) the ability to recognize color in a class II autistic child after application is in the very capable category, 3) there is an increase in the ability to recognize color in a class II autistic child from the unable category increased to the very capable category.
