The Influence of Facilities and Infrastructure Management on the Quality of Education in Vocational High Schools in Jeneponto Regency

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of management of facilities and infrastructure on the quality of education at SMK Negeri 9 Jeneponto. The variables in this study are the management of facilities and infrastructure as the independent variable and the quality of education as the dependent variable. The population in this study were all students and teachers at SMK Negeri 9 Jeneponto totaling 147 people. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample of 59 students and teachers who were taken randomly and proportionally. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage analysis, instrument test and hypothesis testing. The instrument test consists of a validity test and a reliability test. While the hypothesis test consists of simple linear regression analysis, t-test and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the equation model Y' = 23,873 + 0,540X, which means that for every addition of 1 value of facilities and infrastructure management, the value of the quality of education has increased by 0,540. From the analysis of the coefficient of determination (r2), the value of r2 = 33.5 percent, which means that the management of facilities and infrastructure has an influence on the quality of education by 33.5 percent and the remaining 66.5 percent is influenced by other factors.
