Stress Inoculation Training to Reduce Study Stress in Junior High School Students in Pinrang Regency

Abstract


The approach to this study is qualitative with a case study type of research. The research instrument was conducted through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The research results obtained from the two students were: (1) An overview of learning stress on the two students of SMPN 7 Pinrang, the number of assignments given by the teacher, more concerned with playing cellphones than entering class, often leaving during the learning process, influencing friends not to enter in the classroom during the learning process takes place. (2) Factors that cause learning stress from both students' internal factors and external factors. (3) The efforts made by students who experience learning stress at SMPN 7 Pinrang students are carried out using the Stress Inoculation Training technique. The results obtained from this technique were that initially students thought negatively about a problem and were able to deal with it with a rational mind and were able to reduce learning stress for the two students of SMPN 7 Pinrang.
