Abstract

The Kalomba  tradition is a special event dedicated to children from the Kajang tribe. This tradition is carried out by carrying out large-scale events or it can be said as a party that has many rules that already exist or have been implemented before so that these rules are passed down and carried out until now. The holding of this Kalomba  tradition is a form of parental accountability to their children because this tradition is an obligation that parents must carry out to their children when they become teenagers. However, parents also don't have to force them to hold the trade. This tradition can be carried out if the parents are able or well-established to hold a party which cannot be said to be cheap, even though the party is carried out in a simple way and is carried out together in its implementation. Therefore, the Kalomba  tradition that is carried out by each child is different for each person because this tradition is adapted to the abilities of each parent. Kalomba  tradition is carried out with various rules. The series of activities from start to finish was very draining, but there were many positive things learned related to the values contained therein. For example, the role of the community supporting the culture of the Kajang tribe, starting from traditional leaders, the community and the government, to the name "sanro". (P-issn, 2021)
