Impact of Technology on Aducation

Abstract

In the modern era, today's technological developments are very rapid due to the emergence of several types of various kinds of technological equipment, this development is also the beginning of a cultural shift in society. Technology has become an inseparable part of all aspects of human life. In almost all human activities utilizing technology, both simple technology and sophisticated technology apart from that technological developments do not only have an impact on human life but have an impact on the world of education, there are various kinds of impacts of technology on the world of education namely positive and negative impacts which are often the subject of discussion in various media Therefore, this article aims to determine the impact of technology on education. This research uses qualitative research methods, especially qualitative research, which is a research process that produces descriptive data in the form of text or speech of people or observed behavior (Rahmadi, S.Ag, M.Pd.I.2011: 14), which is expected to be able to produce a study of an object to be studied. In this study there are two sources of data used by researchers, namely Primary Data and Secondary Data. The results of this research are 1) Technological developments in the world of Education. 2) The role of technology in the world of Education. 3) The impact and positive influence of technology on the world of education. 4) Impact and negative influence of technology on the world of education.
