Assessment of the Soundness of the Bank Using the REGEC Method at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Period 2017-2021

Abstract


This study aims to test the assessment of the soundness of a bank using the RGEC method at PT.  Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk which is listed on the IDX for the period 207 – 2021. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method.  The population of this research is the financial statements of PT.  Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk.  The research sample is the financial statements of PT.  Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk for the 2017-2021 period.  The analysis technique used in this study is the RGEC method. The results of the research and data analysis of each variable can be interpreted that in 2017 the assessment of all variables received a composite rating of 1 with a value of 94.28% with a very healthy predicate.  In 2018, the results obtained a composite rating of 1 with a value of 94.28% with a very healthy predicate.  In 2019 it also got the 1st rank with the same value of 94.28%, the title is very healthy.  In 2020 it was ranked 1st with a score of 91.42% very healthy and for 2021 it was ranked 1st with the same score in 2020, namely 91.42% very healthy.  Based on the results of the analysis it can be stated that from 2017 to 2021 the health of PT.  Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk received a composite rating of 1 with the criteria of "Very Healthy".
