Profitability Analysis of Shredded Tuna Production in Barru Regency

Abstract


This study aims to determine the profitability of Ditya's shredded tuna business in Bojo Baru Village, Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. The sample in this study is the Shredded Tuna Ditya Business in Bojo Baru Village, Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency in 2018-2022. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and observation. The analysis used to determine the profitability of the business of making shredded tuna is income, ROI, and profit margin. The results of this study indicate that in 2018-2022 the financial performance of the Ditya shredded tuna fish MSME by calculating the profitability ratio (Return on Investment) is categorized as quite healthy and for the Net Profit Margin (NPM) it is categorized as healthy. If we look at the profitability ratios using these two indicators, it can be said that the Ditya shredded tuna MSME can manage, regulate, and streamline their income with the costs they use to produce shredded tuna so that it is in accordance with their estimates and there is no stock overload. The total income of UMKM Ditya for the last 5 years 2018-2022 is IDR 703,310,000 with a total cost for the last 5 years 2018-2022 of IDR 540,185,718.
