Analyzing the Influence of the Twitter Platform as a Kpopers Communication Tool in Specializing in Information Dissemination

Abstract


This paper discusses the development of digital development in the era of Society 5.0. As a new fashion that continues to develop, especially in the K-Pop industry, which continues to take advantage of digital advances to increase the industry's popularity by developing several platforms. Through the platform makes it easy to interact with their idols. Therefore, this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data that has been collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained by researchers that the use of Twitter for K-Popers is very important in getting the latest information from the idol, based on the results of the 2021 data explaining that there are 7.8 billion tweets about K-Pop and Indonesia being the first country to become the most populous country. talk about K-Pop on Twitter. Through the information obtained, it is not uncommon for this information to be used to trap the idol and fans by exaggerating it so that the information becomes fake news and fans are able to misinterpret the information that is spread. And also strengthen between the fans themselves. Not only form, but also Kpopers form other behaviors, namely, Consumptive Behavior, Celebrity Worship, fanaticism, and Selfish Behavior.
