Development of Digital Comics Teaching Materials for Putri Tandampalik Folklore for Elementary School Students

Abstract


This research aims to determine the development procedures, validity and practicality of teaching material digital comic Putri Tandampalik in Indonesian Language Subject Class V SDS Pabrik Gula Takalar. The research method was research and development, development model was the Borg & Gall with modifications by Sugioyono. Development step includes data collection, product design, and product testing. The product developed is teaching material digital comic with the subject matter of folklore about Putri Tandampalik from the South Sulawesi area in Indonesian class V subjects at SDS Pabrik Gula Takalar. The advantages of teaching material digital comic are audiovisual-based and can be used in offline and online learning by teachers and increase student learning enthusiasm because the presentation of the material is no longer textual but is dominated by visualization equipped with supporting audio and its use can be used anywhere and anytime, so that students can learn independently. The results of validation by learning teaching materials experts and content/material experts indicate that digital comics teaching materials are in the very good category, which means that the teaching materials developed are valid.
