The Effect of The Tabarak Method to Improve Motivation and Memory of Memorying the Quran Early Children

Abstract


Early childhood is a golden age to provide good stimulation for its development. One of them is by stimulating the development of children's memory through memorizing the Koran using the tabarak method. The advantages of the tabarak method are; (1) The use of audio media that is played repeatedly, (2) Audio playback can be done anywhere, (3) giving positive persuasion to increase student motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of the tabarak method to increase motivation and memory of memorizing the Qur'an in early childhood in TK Plus Qurthuba. This research uses true experimental method with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling method. The samples in this study were 13 TK Plus Qurthuba students aged 4-6 years which were divided into 7 experimental groups and 6 control groups. The data analysis technique used MANOVA test. This study consists of 3 hypotheses and the results show that the three Ha are accepted and Ho is rejected. There is the effect of the tabarak method to increase motivation to memorize the Koran in early childhood. There is the effect of the tabarak method to improve the memory of memorizing the Koran in early childhood. There is the effect of the tabarak method to increase motivation and memory to memorize the Koran in early childhood simultaneously. The results of this study can be used as a reference for applying the tabarak method in tahfidz schools or can be done independently by parents at home.
