Feasibility Analysis of Computer Laboratory Facilities and Infrastructure in Junior High Schools

Abstract


This study aims to determine the level of feasibility of the facilities and infrastructure of the engineering drawing computer laboratory of SMK Negeri 3 Pangkep. The level of feasibility is based on the standard of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 40 of 2008, the National Education Standards Agency for 2020/2021 and General Electrical Installation Requirements (PUIL). This research is an evaluative research using case study method. The subject of this research is the person in charge of the computer engineering laboratory of building drawings. The object of this research is the computer laboratory facilities and infrastructure in terms of the area of the computer laboratory room, furniture, educational equipment, educational media and the quality of the main equipment in the computer laboratory. Methods of collecting data by means of observation, documentation and interviews. The research instrument uses a checklist with a rating scale. The results showed that the level of achievement of feasibility in terms of the area of the computer laboratory room was 94% (very feasible), computer laboratory room furniture 96% (very feasible), laboratory room education media 100% (very feasible), computer laboratory room equipment 36% (not feasible), and the quality of the main device 88% (very feasible).
