Edukasi Covid-19 Untuk Mewujudkan Sekolah Cerdas dan Sehat (Artikel KKN PPL UPT SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai Timur

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) merupakan virus yang menyebabkan penyakit pernapasan akut yang memiliki gelaja ringan sampai gejala berat. Hingga sampai saat ini persebaran Corona virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) semakin meningkat dan menyebar dengan cepat melalui percikan air liur saat batuk dan bersin ketika orang menderita batuk dan bersin. Hal tersebut juga terjadi di salah satu sekolah yang terletak di kabupaten Sinjai, yaitu UPT SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah covid-19 menyebar adalah dengan memerhatikan protokol kesehatan yang berlaku. Namun dalam kenyataannya, tim mahasiswa KKN-PPL UNM menemukan masih banyak masyarakat sekolah yang mengabaikan protokol kesehatan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, tim mahasiswa KKN-PPL UNM melakukan edukasi covid-19 terhadap masyarakat sekolah di UPT SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai agar mereka dapat memiliki pemahaman dan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya mematuhi protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah penyebaran covid-19. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan perilaku sadar dalam mematuhi protokol kesehatan sebagai upaya meminimalkan penyebaran covid-19. Kegiatan edukasi ini meliputi edukasi covid melalui sosial media, banner dan poster, penyaluran masker sebanyak 25 buah serta penggunaan dan penyaluran handsanitizer sebanyak 10 buah.

Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) is a virus that causes acute respiratory disease that has mild symptoms to severe symptoms. Until now, the spread of Corona virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) is increasing and spreading rapidly through saliva splashes when coughing and sneezing when people cough and sneeze. This also happened in one of the schools located in Sinjai district, namely UPT SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai. One of the efforts to prevent Covid-19 from spreading is to pay attention to applicable health protocols. But in reality, the student team of KKN UNM found that there were still many school communities who ignored these health protocols. Therefore, the UNM KKN student team educated the school community at UPT SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai so that they could have an understanding and awareness of the importance of complying with health protocols to prevent the spread of covid-19. This activity is expected to produce conscious behavior in adhering to health protocols in an effort to minimize the spread of covid-19. This educational activity includes covid education through social media, banners and posters, distribution of 25 masks and the use and distribution of 10 handsanitizers.
