Abstract


Language is the ability that humans have to communicate with other humans. By using signs, such as words or gestures. Meanwhile, the ability to read and write is the most basic of mastering languages. Because by having the ability to read and write one can easily master science. This paper is the result of community service activities carried out through tutoring activities for children aged 6-7 years, in Bone-bone village, Bone-bone district, North Luwu Regency. The purpose of this guidance is to improve children's reading and writing skills, and also to provide solutions to the community, especially parents who have difficulty teaching their children to learn to read and write at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this activity is to provide direct guidance to children through the media of pictures and letter cards, while still paying attention to health protocols.
