Abstract

This community service article aims to provide an overview of the community service activities that have been carried out. The problems found were the limited implementation of the traditional rambu solo ceremony in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and increasing public awareness of the dangers and prevention of COVID-19 infection at the traditional rambu solo ceremony in Panuli, Lembang Sarambu, Buntu Pepasan District, North Toraja Regency. The importance of implementing the solo rambu traditional ceremony, which is a culture that is still inherent in the life of the Toraja people, is one of the struggles amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Its implementation which triggers large crowds of people will certainly find it difficult to comply with health protocols to prevent transmission of COVID-19. The importance of maintaining and understanding health protocols in implementing traditional ceremonies such as solo signs is very important to be socialized to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this writing is to inform the dangers of the Covid-19 Pandemic so that the public remains obedient to health protocols, especially at the Rambu Solo (traditional death ceremony).
