Meningkatkan Nasionalisme dan Sportivitas Peserta Didik di SMPIT Al-Hikmah Maros Melalui Seminar Sejarah Lokal dan PORAKES

Abstract

Local History Studies and PORAKES do not only serve to introduce self and culture that each person has. This study also deserves to be used as a medium for strengthening nationalism. The purpose of service is to provide an understanding of the importance of the role of every citizen in respecting, protecting and understanding local history, Pancasila values and building sportsmanship through sports, this understanding will strengthen the spirit of love of every citizen for his country (nationalism). Taking advantage of this relationship, the authors innovated the dedication through the History Gathering and PORAKES for SMPIT Al-Hikmah students and the people of Maros Regency to strengthen their nationalism. This service method is carried out with several activities, namely the Local History Gathering, the National Children's Competition related to general knowledge and the values of Pancasila as well as the Sarong Race and Marbles Race. Some of these activities are intended to adjust the dedication goals, namely junior high school and high school students. Taking into account the psychology of their age, the introduction of Local History and the Cultivation of Pancasila Values is carried out in a way that is easily understood by children of middle school age. The result of this service is that even though with simple language and fun techniques, this service has succeeded in introducing Local History, Pancasila Values and building sportsmanship to high school students while strengthening their nationalism by means of education through Gathering and competitions.
