Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic is a very serious problem and requires good handling, one of the efforts to minimize transmission of the virus between humans is the use of masks, the high need for the use of these masks has resulted in the large number of masks circulating in the market that do not comply with the health standards of wearing masks, by Therefore, cloth masks are needed as an alternative besides being reusable after washing cloth masks that are according to standards as well as their effectiveness being able to filter particles in the air which is quite high, namely 50-70%, this work program aims to educate how important it is to use good cloth masks and correct to reduce the number of contracting covid 19. This work program was carried out in Caile Village, Ujung Bulu District, Bulukumba Regency in October 2020. This work program was carried out in the form of Training, Question and Answer, and Supervision, Practice, Monitoring and Assistance. According to us, the results of the implementation of this activity are that the participants have the right and correct skills in making cloth masks. Participants understand and are able to develop what has been obtained in this training process. Participants are skilled in applying a model modified pattern that is creative, interesting and fun.
