Pelatihan Pembuatan Hidroponik Sederhana di Lingkungan Desa Jenetaesa, Kecamatan Simbang, Kabupaten Maros

Abstract

The implementation of Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit requires students to be able to find solutions to problems that exist in society as one of the manifestations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. Along with the increasing population growth, the increasing need for food such as vegetables and fruits is not followed by an increase in the amount of agricultural land so that people start looking for more efficient ways to meet their food needs, one of which is the hydroponic method. The use of other media besides soil media is one of the advantages of this method while still paying attention to the fulfillment of nutritional needs and plants used and can maximize the use of limited land. The method of activities carried out is by providing socialization and training to the community on how to make simple hydroponics by utilizing materials around the place. The results obtained by the community are skills in utilizing simple ingredients and good maintenance methods in making hydroponics.
